How we check
Every settings path and every claim on this site should have a source you can open yourself. Here is what those sources are and what the dates on the pages mean.

Android settings paths
Menu labels and the paths to them come from the manufacturer's own help pages: Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, vivo. The label in our text is the one the help page uses.
Some settings have no help page at all. That was the case with app freezing on Tecno and Infinix: the article is built from Carlcare service centre answers, the Don't kill my app project and posts by owners on the 4PDA forum. Where that happens, the text says whose information it is.
Labels change between versions of a manufacturer's skin, so an item may be named differently on your phone. That is why a path usually comes with a word to type into settings search, and the brand pages of the notification checker carry the date they were last checked.
Sources under an article
Articles written from help pages end with a Sources list: the pages the text was checked against. Older articles do not have one yet. It is added when an article is revised.
When an app is open source, some facts are checked against its code: three statements in the Telegram notifications article were verified this way. The Sources list then links to the file at a specific version of the code.
English articles take their labels from the English help pages. Where there is none and a label is described from the Russian page, the text says so.
Facts about KIPRI
Everything the site says about the app is checked against its code. Features the app does not have are not on the site, and limits are stated plainly: KIPRI has no "every two weeks" repeat, for example, and the recurring reminder builder says so.
Comparisons with other apps
What we say about Todoist, TickTick, Google Keep, Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do comes only from their own help pages. The links and the check date are at the bottom of each comparison. Comparisons are rechecked every six months.
What the dates mean
An article gets an Updated date only when the text changed in substance: a new path, a changed label, an added case. A fixed typo does not move the date.
If you find a mistake
Email support with your phone model, the system version and what is named differently on your screen. The text will be fixed and the page will get a new date.
