Online habit tracker
Add a habit and tick the days you did it. The tracker shows your streak and the share of days done. Ticks stay in this browser, no sign-up needed.

You already have eight habits. Remove one to add another.

Why two numbers
A streak counts days in a row and drops to zero after one miss. The habit itself barely notices a single miss: that is what Phillippa Lally found in her 2010 study.
So next to it sits the share of days done this month. The streak is gone, but 24 of 27 stays: the habit is holding.
How long it takes
In Lally’s study the median time to automaticity was 66 days, ranging from 18 to 254. A glass of water sticks faster than a run. The 21 days from self-help books came from a surgeon watching patients get used to a new face. He was not studying habits.
Where the ticks are stored
Only in this browser, they never reach the server. Clear the site data or open the page on another phone and the list will be empty.

Habits on your phone
In KIPRI a habit can be yes/no or counted, scheduled on set weekdays or as a weekly target. On a day that went off the rails you can freeze the streak instead of losing it.
