Birthday calendar
Add the dates of the people close to you and the list puts them in order: how many days are left, how old they turn and by when to choose a gift. You can take it all into your phone calendar as a single file, reminders included.
Dates are stored only in this browser and are never sent anywhere. Delete the entries or clear the site data and nothing is left.
Paste a list
One person per line: the name, then the date as day.month. The year is optional.
Use a .vcf file. On Android, the Google Contacts app saves one: «Fix & manage» → «Export to file» → «Export to .VCF file». The file is read right here in the browser and never reaches the server. Only contacts with a birthday are added.

Save to your calendar
Phone and desktop calendars open .ics files. The birthdays become yearly events with two reminders: the lead time chosen above and the morning of the day. Not every calendar keeps reminders from a file, so check they are there after importing.
What about 29 February
In a non-leap year such a birthday sits on 28 February here, and the same in the calendar file: the event repeats on the last day of February. If your family celebrates on 1 March, just enter that date.
How early to think about a gift
A week is plenty if the gift comes from a shop round the corner. For delivery or anything made to order, two weeks or a month is more honest. The lead time is chosen above, and the list recalculates the dates straight away.
How this differs from the app
This page remembers dates only in this browser and sends no notifications itself: the calendar you import the file into does the reminding. If that is enough for you, you need nothing else.
In KIPRI birthdays live in a section of their own: several reminders per date, set up for each person, age without requiring the year, and notes on what someone wanted and what you already gave.
