What the app Freezer is on Tecno and Infinix
Freezer is a feature of the HiOS (Tecno) and XOS (Infinix) shells for apps you hardly use but do not want to delete.
Carlcare, the official service for Tecno and Infinix, puts it this way: "The frozen app won’t run, send notifications, or even show on your home screen until you unfreeze it." The app’s data is kept.
If an icon vanished from the home screen and that app’s notifications went quiet at the same time, Freezer is the first place to look.
