Birthdays sit badly in a general to-do list. They repeat every year, you need to know in advance, and forgetting one stings the most. So KIPRI gives them their own section with their own calendar.
Age is calculated for you
If the birth year is known, the app shows the age being turned. If not, only the date remains. Asking for a year is not appropriate with everyone, and that is no reason to skip the greeting.
List and calendar
The list shows upcoming dates by month and how many days are left. The calendar shows the same set visually, including the month with far too many birthdays in it.
A note about the person
Add anything you like to a date: what you gave last year, what they wanted, sizes and favourite colours. A year later it saves you.

Will the reminder arrive if the phone was switched off?
Notifications are scheduled in the system queue of your device. Once the phone is back on, upcoming alerts arrive on schedule, and the app tops the queue back up a month ahead on launch.
