Notes: thoughts, lists and attachments

Not everything worth remembering has a date. Films friends recommend, measurements for the renovation and a list of presents all belong in notes. In KIPRI they look like cards on a board rather than faceless rows.

A card instead of a row

A note has a title, body, category and a look. Twelve themes ship with the app: six colour surfaces and six illustrated scenes. A board of cards like that is read with the eyes, so you find the one you need by its look instead of reading every line.

Checklists and attachments

A note holds a checklist, photos and voice clips. A shopping list, a wardrobe sort-out and a watchlist each fit into one note rather than five.

The private section

A note can be moved into the private section, which opens with a fingerprint or Face ID. Those cards do not show in the main list and never appear in previews.

The order is yours

Cards can be pinned to the top and rearranged by hand. The order syncs across devices, so the board looks the same on a phone and on a tablet.

What people usually ask

  • Are private notes really protected?

The section opens with the biometrics of your device. When syncing, data goes into your own account, protected by row-level security, so nobody else can read your records, including other users of the app.

  • What about photos when there is no connection?

Local attachments work on every plan and need no network. Uploading attachments to the cloud comes with paid plans, and it waits for a connection without blocking your work on the note.

Take Kipri with you

The free plan runs the whole app. Limits only start where serious volume starts.
